YOUR NUTRITION AT QUEST RETREATS
Our fun and informative seminars will educate you on everything you need to know about living a healthy lifestyle, without making you feel like you are on a diet. We will cover important topics such as; macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats and proteins), portion sizes, hydration, and food preparation.
During your stay at the retreat you will eat fresh locally sourced foods while limiting any processed foods. We have planned our menu for optimum health benefits while ensuring it can be easily replicated when you return home. Small changes get big results, these are often little things you can tweak in your current routine, we discuss this with you and give you all the hints and tips you need.
We don’t cut out any major food groups or believe in fad diets. How many diets have you started and stopped only to realise the weight has piled back on or you’re grumpy and can’t concentrate because you’ve cut out all carbs? We are about real life and creating a nutritional plan you can stick to long term and enjoy.
Some of your meals will be prepped and cooked from fresh ingredients and served in our beautiful Hideaway Restaurant. Others will be prepped and cooked by you, we offer practical cooking lessons so you understand and learn how to prepare and cook your meals and plan your meals for when you return home.
Are you a vegetarian or vegan? Maybe you have food allergies or can’t eat certain foods due to religious beliefs? This is not a problem, so long as we have been informed prior to your arrival at the retreat.
